Canadian Experience Class

Canadian Experience Class is the most suitable category for international students. If you are a student, who graduated in Canada, you are familiar with Canadian culture, both official languages and have a qualifying work experience; you might have a chance to immigrate to Canada. Therefore, studying college with the possibility to obtain a Post-grad Work Permit for 3 years is worth the consideration. You must meet minimum requirements to apply for permanent residence in Canada, which are:

  • You must be either:
    • a temporary foreign worker with at least two years of full-time (or equivalent) skilled work experience in Canada*, or
    • a foreign graduate from a Canadian post-secondary institution with at least one year of full-time skilled work experience in Canada
  • Apply while working in Canada – or – within one year of leaving your job in Canada
  • Include the results of a language test from English and French
  • Your results and final examination from post-secondary educational institution in Canada if you are applying as a foreign graduate

* According to the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC), skilled work experience means:

  • Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or
  • Skill Level A (professional occupations) or
  • Skill Level B (technical occupations and skilled trades)
