Winter resort of Whistler is located just 125 km from Vancouver. Whistler to Vancouver combines the very famous Sea to Sky Highway (Highway 99), which ends up in the United States.

Most of this area lies in the temperate climatic zone, the climate is sometimes referred to as the ocean.
