Centennial College is Ontario's first community college. It was established in 1966 and primarily serves the eastern portion of the Greater Toronto Area through four campuses and seven satellite locations. Each year, more than 22,000 full-time students, including more than 9,000 international and 1,300 apprenticeship, attend the post-secondary, degree, postgraduate and fast-track programs in Business, Engineering Technology & Applied Sciences, Communication, Media, Arts & Design, Health & Community Studies, Hospitality, Tourism & Culinary Arts, Transportation, as well as English Language Learning (ELL) and foundations programs for college and university preparation.

Progress Campus is Centennial's largest campus and is home to the Schools of Business and Hospitality, Tourism and Culture. There are also Advanced Manufacturing and Automation Engineering Technology programs taught there, as well as many Child Studies and Community Service programs.
