Southern Cross University, with just 23 years of age and a student community from over 50 nationalities, is one of the Asia-Pacific’s top 100 universities and one of the world’s top 50 Generation Y Universities. According to THE World University Rankings and the QS World University Rankings, they are ranked as one of the top 150 under 50 years old, top 300 for Life Sciences, top 400 for Social Sciences and top 400 in Physical Sciences. Additionally, in the latest Excellence in Research for Australia report, Southern Cross achieved outstanding ratings of 'at world standard' or above in 24 research fields. 

Their contemporary campuses, with purpose-built state-of-the-art facilities, are located on the east coast of Australia, at the Gold Coast in Queensland, and in Lismore and Coffs Harbour in New South Wales. They offer degrees in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth at branch campuses and through The Hotel School. 

Southern Cross University's Melbourne branch campus is located in the heart of the central business district. The campus currently offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business, administration, accounting and information technology to international students.
