Southern Cross University, with just 23 years of age and a student community from over 50 nationalities, is one of the Asia-Pacific’s top 100 universities and one of the world’s top 50 Generation Y Universities. According to THE World University Rankings and the QS World University Rankings, they are ranked as one of the top 150 under 50 years old, top 300 for Life Sciences, top 400 for Social Sciences and top 400 in Physical Sciences. Additionally, in the latest Excellence in Research for Australia report, Southern Cross achieved outstanding ratings of 'at world standard' or above in 24 research fields. 

Their contemporary campuses, with purpose-built state-of-the-art facilities, are located on the east coast of Australia, at the Gold Coast in Queensland, and in Lismore and Coffs Harbour in New South Wales. They offer degrees in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth at branch campuses and through The Hotel School. 

Southern Cross University Perth Campus is located on Hay Street in the central business district in East Perth. It is not far from Kings Park, one of the largest inner-city parks in the world, and the Swan River, where students can take a ferry to other locations around the city.
