• The Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is the leading provider of vocational education and training in Canberra, Australia’s capital city. Vocational education and training is designed to provide students with occupational or work-related skills and knowledge.

  CIT has four campuses and two Flexible Learning Centres located in various suburbs across Canberra. Courses are offered to international students at the two largest CIT campuses in the suburbs of Reid and Bruce.

  The Canberra Institute of Technology has proudly delivered high quality vocational and education training to the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) since 2 May 1928.

  CIT has an impressive 90 year history providing technical and further education in the ACT and surrounding area. Today, it trains around 20,000 students each year, touching more lives post secondary school than any other tertiary education institution in the ACT.

  CIT has a strong reputation domestically and internationally with business and industry endorsing CIT’s programs. These partnerships assist with student employment and work experience. CIT’s partnerships allow students a choice of pathways to employment, further study upon graduation or career enhancement.

CIT staff are industry professionals, with students benefiting from their expertise, support and personal attention.
